As faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, we must prepare our heart and mind to receive our testimony, which is the present (gift) of God. In order for us to do this, we must follow John in Rev 1:1-10 where in order to receive the word of God John had to be “in the spirit”.
The Spirit Prepares God’s Word
When we are “in the spirit” we put our interest and desires aside and are completely focused on God’s calling in our life. This enables us to see what God sees, hear what God hears and love as Jesus loved. In these moments we can do all things in Christ, we can move mountains and save souls for the kingdom of heaven.
My trust in God flows out of the experience of his loving me, day in and day out, whether the day is stormy or fair, whether I’m sick or in good health, whether I’m in a state of grace or disgrace. He comes to me where I live and loves me as I am.
God’s Word Provides Praise Encounters
Today, I was in the spirit before work because of praise and worship and heard zebra, which is my acknowledgment of rare conditions that can be life-threatening but with the understanding of God, I can see people with God’s supernatural power and precision. Because of this my patient lived because He lives!!
Testimonies give God all the honor and glory
When we see life through the lens of God, our journey is not only doable but it is purposeful. By faith, we will approach all circumstances with the authority of God.
